Irish Red Ale - (ale) Irish Red Ales are typically sweet and reminiscent of having a tea characteristic. Well rounded flavors of caramel and toffee with low levels of hops. Sometimes has a bit of roasty character. The body is typically medium and the finish is dry. Examples: Smithwick’s Irish Ale, Murphy’s Irish Red.
