Belgian Witbier - (ale) Witbier or "White Beer" is named such because it has a white cloudiness from the yeast that is left in suspension when served (this is an unfiltered beer).  This beer is spiced with coriander, orange peel and other oddball spices or herbs in the back ground. The crispness and slight twang comes from the wheat and the lively level of carbonation.  Examples: Hoegaarden, Unibroue Blanche de Chambly.
